Best 90’s Films

Britain’s “Time Out” magazine has put out a list of ‘The 50 Best ’90s Movies,” and since it did NOT include “Titanic”, it seemed interesting enough to pass along. Sorry, “Titanic” fans . . . you’ve had your moment. Here’s the Top 20:

1. “Magnolia”
2. The “Three Colors” trilogy . . . “Blue”, “White”, and “Red”. Since this is a
British list, they went a little international, so that’s why these Krzysztof Kieslowski
‘European arthouse cinema’ movies made the cut.
3. “The Thin Red Line”
4. “Trainspotting”
5. “Groundhog Day”
6. “Naked”, by British director Mike Leigh
7. “Goodfellas” 8. “Clueless”
9. “The Shawshank Redemption”
10. “Pulp Fiction”
11. “Rushmore”
12. The Danish movie “Festen”, which is called “The Celebration” in the U.S.
