Your Hometown Country Connection

Krystle

Hey everyone!! First let me say I hate writing about myself.....lol

Let's see....

I'm orginally from Queens, NY moved to Citrus Country Florida when I was 13.. so guess that makes me a city/country kinda girl.

I always knew that I wanted to be an entertainer of some kind... even tried that whole acting deal (that didn't work...lol) after growing up watching Orpah, Dick Clark, and Barbara Walters I wanted to be just like them or so I thought. After going through broadcasting school wanting to work on TV as a reporter/archor I realized my passion was really radio.
I graduated from CSB school of Broadcasting in 2008 and landed my first radio job the morning of graduation, that's something I have always been proud of. I later than moved to Orlando, FL where I was blessed in my career to work with those I use to listen to as a kid growing up. I wanted to take my career to the next level and found myself right here at WAYZ.

I have been blessed with a truly amazing family, my mother is my rock and my friends wow I don't know what I would do with out any of them. I am going to miss all of them but I am excited to now be here with all of you. Thanks for listening and for all the support I have been getting so far.

DAN SMYERS of the duo DAN + SHAY was in a auto accident this past Tuesday focusing him to spend the day in the emergency. It wasn't anything to serious, but he did however break his wrist. He Tweeted a PHOTO of it and said "The Show must go on" and it's very true because they are currently on tour opening for HUNTER HAYES and as new artist that's not something they want to miss out on.

If you didn't know CRAIG MORGAN left the US Army to follow his dreams of country music, but he still is dedicated to the US Troops. This Spring he'll be making his 11th trip overseas to entertain the troops serving. He also helps support spouses and dependents who remain here in the states with this work called "Folds of Honor and Jack Daniels Toadt to Troops."

"Lie" is a song off TRACY LAWRENCE's latest album "Headlights, Taillgihts and Radios" in the video for it a guy catches his best friend with his girl. This is based on a true story from his past. Tracy says quote "This is a scenario that I went through when I was in high school.  My buddy has just graduated, so we was out working during the week and he'd come back home on the weekends. I was suppose to be looking after his girl, you know a buddy-buddy thing.. and we hooked up.  We were at a high school dance one weekend , and he came back in. I was dancing with her, and he tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and be laid one on me. I never saw it coming."
