Hey Tri-State! I wanted to first thank everyone for all the support over the last few years. Working at WAYZ has been an awesome experience and it is mainly because of you. A little about me?? Well, I am from Reading, Pa and went to York College to earn my degree in Speech Communication. I am in a sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon, and my sisters have had a huge impact on my life. I have great friends and an even better family. My younger brother David is my best friend and I am so blessed to have such a great sibling. I rescued a 3 legged cat, named Uno, who makes me smile everyday. I have always been a very upbeat, annoying girl who always has a smile on her face. Lastly, I couldn’t imagine working so closely with anyone other than Tiny. Tiny has become one of my greatest friends and I am so glad we got paired up to try and make your mornings a little brighter! I have to send some love out to who I believe is the best mom in the whole world. Throughout my life, my mom has always supported me. I believe we have the best mom-daughter relationship and I wouldn't trade her for anything. There is nothing I can't tell my mom and I am grateful for her everyday!
First and foremost, Happy Mother's Day (4 days in advance). You want to get your mother something she can enjoy and show off to her friends, not something she is embarrassed to display. Here's a list of some item you should NOT get your mom for this special occasion- example: Spanx...Enough said!
I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and do something totally different with my hair (color). I am a natural blonde (in every sense), but I thought "Hey, why not go dark?" The feedback has been pretty positive! Thanks again to the wonderful girls at Roots Hair Design in Marion!
For giving away the game Quelf this morning, we asked a question about pink dolphins...and yes, they are real. I couldn't believe it, but it is a deep shade of pink. If it's hard to believe, check out these photos. I now have a new thing on my bucket list, see a pink dolphin in the flesh.
