Hello Tri- State!! Its Katy, thanks for stopping by my page!! A little about me; I am from Reading, Pa. Graduate from York College and I got my first radio gig in Harrisburg, PA. I loved it there, don’t be fooled by any rumors, and I moved here not to long ago and I am really enjoying the Tri-State area. I am in love with radio. As a kid I was obsessed with microphones, and now I get paid to talk on one! How amazing!! I am in a sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon, and my sisters are absolutely fabulous. My brother David is my best friend in life and I have a cat named Super Grover, don’t make fun of the name because he is great!! I try hard everyday to always put a smile on my face and be happy. I have always been that annoying happy girl, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My favorite part of my job is of course listening to amazing country music, but more importantly getting to know YOU. As much as Tiny and I bicker, I couldn’t have picked anyone better to work with. Biggest Fear: Sharks!!!! Oh man, I have problems even getting into a lake because I am TERRIFIED of great white sharks. Strangely enough, I love Shark week on the Discovery Channel.
If you weren’t working for WAYZ, what would you be doing: I would be a game show host!! How fun would that be?
If you won the lottery, you would… PAY OFF MY DEBT!! Than I would divvy some of it out between my friends any family. Next, I would go on a MASSIVE shopping spree and spend about 15,000 on a new wardrobe. The rest, I would invest. You HAVE to be a little responsible…
Why Radio? I love the fact that I get to know so many people everyday and I get paid for it. It’s the greatest job in the world. Its fun and there is never a day where I dread going to work.
Favorite band/artist. Wow, I have many. Rascal Flatts are amazing!! They got me started in country music. But I have to say Carrie Underwood is the most talented singer I have ever heard!
Favorite Food: SOFT PRETZELS AND CHEESE!!! Makes me happy on a sad day!

Coolest Run in with a Celebrity: I met Dave Matthews in Seattle backstage. I had to pull down my sunglasses because I started to tear up. I think his music is amazing.
