“MYSTERY VOICE”

OFFICIAL RULES

1.       The contest period will commence on Wednesday, April15^th, 2008 and run until at least Friday, April 25^th, 2008; if extended, appropriate announcements will be made on the air.

2.       The contest is open to residents of Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia.  Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the contest episode in which they participate.

3.       This on-air contest will be played on WAYZ four (4) times each weekday (Monday through Friday ONLY) between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. 

4.       At each contest episode, WAYZ will air a “Mystery Voice.”  The voice will belong to a celebrity from current pop culture (music, television, film, etc.)  When instructed by the announcer, listeners will be asked to call 1-717-597-5168.  Caller 9 will be asked, to correctly identify the “WAYZ Mystery Voice.”  WAYZ may give on-air hints at any time at the station’s discretion.

5.       If caller 9 correctly identifies the “WAYZ Mystery Voice,” that caller will win the current Jackpot, subject to eligibility.

6.       The “current Jackpot” will be $1,000.00, and will increase by $104.70 every time there is an incorrect guess.  (For example, if WAYZ is on its third attempt at identifying a “Mystery Voice,” the Jackpot would be valued $1,209.40, the $1,000.00 initial jackpot, plus $104.70 for the first incorrect guess and $104.70 for the second incorrect guess.)

7.       Each participant may compete and win in any contest episode so long as the participant (either alone or in conjunction with members of the participant’s household) has not previously won Jackpots totaling $600 or more in this Contest. Once any participant wins $600 or more, either alone or in conjunction with members of the participant’s household, both the participants and each member of the participant’s household, are immediately disqualified for the duration of the contest.  A single household consists of all members of any individual’s immediate family and any others living together at the same residence address.

8.        Prize will be awarded upon confirmation of Winner’s eligibility. 

9.       Winner will be called and informed when prize check is ready for pick up.  All winners must present current photo identification with the winner’s name and current residence address.  If the prize alone or in combination with all prizes won in a single calendar year from VerStandig Broadcasting/HJV Limited Partnership d.b.a. WAYZ Radio is $600 or more, the winner is required to provide his\her Social Security number; name assigned on Social Security card for tax purposes and second form of identification.  Any prize not claimed within 30 days of the date the winner is notified that the check is ready for pick up, will be forfeited and become property of WAYZ.

10.   To be confirmed as the winner, each contestant must sign a declaration and release form that confirms compliance with the contest rules and acceptance of the decisions of station personnel, which shall be final; confirms receipt of the prize awarded; releases VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio, its principals, employees, officers, directors, affiliates, agents, and representatives, from any and all liability in connection with the award of the prize; and consents to the use of his/her name, voice and/or photograph or likeness, without compensation, in any publicity carried out during the following twelve months by VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio in connection with this contest.   Any contestant, participating in this contest under a false, fictitious, or fraudulent name and/or Social Security number, they will be automatically disqualified from this contest and all future contests conducted by or on behalf of, VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio.

11.   Employees of VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio, its advertising and promotional agencies, their immediate families, others living in their households and employees of other local radio stations are not eligible to participate in, or win, this contest. 

12.   Unless approved at the sole discretion of VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio, no transfer or assignment of prize is permitted.

13.   By accepting a prize, each winner releases VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio, their corporate licensee, and all of their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, related companies, agents, employees, officers and shareholders, from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense, including without limitation property damage, personal injury and/or death, arising out of playing this contest or the acceptance, ownership or use of prizes.

14.   Winners will be responsible for all taxes, restrictions or rules set forth by state or federal law relative to prizes or their use.  Contest prizes will be reported to the IRS and state and local governments in accordance with applicable law.

15.   VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio reserves the right to change, discontinue, extend the end date, halt and\or restart the contest at any time. Any changes to the contest rules will be announced by VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio on WAYZ within a reasonable time prior to their taking effect.

16.   VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio assumes no responsibility in the event of any malfunction of any equipment whatsoever, including telephone equipment owned by contestants, the telephone company, any busy signals or for any effect such malfunction may have on a contestant’s ability to participate in the contest.  Please dial carefully.

17.   VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio assume no responsibility whatsoever for any telephone charges, whether long distance, local toll or wireless usage, incurred by contestants participating in the contest.

18.   VerStandig Broadcasting / HJV Limited Partnership, d.b.a. WAYZ Radio contest rules may be inspected at the VerStandig Broadcasting business office, 10960 John Wayne Drive, Greencastle, PA, during normal business hours.

19.   No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
