In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Old Dominion has to postpone some shows, Luke Combs talks about his new album, and Cody Johnson has some news on his future album.

  • Matthew Ramsey, lead singer of Old Dominion, was recently in an ATV accident and fractured his pelvis in three places. The band has had to postpone some shows due to the accident and will give updates as they can. Matthew seems to be taking it well though saying the injury should heal well in a message to fans.

  • Luke Combs released his fourth studio album Gettin’ Old this past Friday. And talking with Luke he opened up about how he created the track listing for the album.

  • Cody Johnson revealed recently that he has recorded a song with Carrie Underwood for his upcoming album. When asked how he felt to be nominated in the same CMT Music Awards category was Carrie he responded with how great it is to work with her. “I actually just recorded a duet with her yesterday for my new album coming out,” Johnson says. “And getting to know her — man, she’s such a pro and everybody that she surrounds herself with are all very professional, as well. So it’s kind of … I don’t mean this to sound bad, but it’s kind of hard to compete with that.” No news on when we’ll hear the song.
