In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Miranda Lambert teases new music, Corey Kent talks about his new album, and Morgan Wallen, Hardy and Ernest might have big plans.

  • Miranda Lambert teased new music on social media yesterday. She posted some pictures of herself in the studio saying she’s got a few collabs she’s excited about. There’s no word on when to expect the new music from Miranda or who it will be with.

  • Corey Kent, best known for “Wild As Her”, is releasing his debut album this Friday June 2nd. It’s titled Blacktop and Corey explained why:

  • Now this is something I’ve been saying needs to happen for a while now. Apparently, Morgan Wallen, Hardy and Ernest (known for “Flower Shops”)  have all talked about forming a country supergroup. In an interview with Billboard Hardy said, “We’ve definitely talked about it. I think it would be awesome [and] I think it would do really well and would set up a tour perfectly”. I feel this makes perfect sense, they help write each others music all the time, and truly are friends. The three of them are already on tour together as well, which Morgan has announced his tour will pick back up June 22nd in Chicago.
