In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Chris Stapleton hit a streaming milestone, Post Malone teased another song off his album, and Dolly Parton has a new makeup line.
- Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” just crossed a massive milestone hitting one billion streams on Spotify. This just the fourth country song to achieve this. The other three being Dan + Shay’s “10,000 Hours” featuring Justin Bieber, Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line’s “Meant to Be” and Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night”. Chris now joins Morgan Wallen as the only two solo country acts that have hit one billion streams on Spotify.
- Post Malone has been everywhere lately, his song with Morgan Wallen “I Had Some Help” is arguably the song of the summer. His new album F-1 Trillion releases this Friday and he’s already shared several songs with A-list country stars like Blake Shelton and Luke Combs. But that doesn’t stop him from teasing yet another song. This is the first one I’ve heard that is a solo song by Post, it’s called “What Don’t Belong To Me”.
- Dolly Parton’s net worth has been reported to be $450 million and even at 78 years old that doesn’t mean she’s going to stop working anytime soon. Next Thursday Dolly is going to be launching her new makeup brand “Dolly Beauty”. The first release will be a lipstick called “Heaven’s Kiss” and will come in 4 shades at $2o each.
