On Sunday night I drove to Philadelphia to visit Citizens Bank Park to see my first Phillies home game since 2000. It was the first time I'd been to the ballpark, which opened in 2004. When I got to the stadium I didn't go directly to my seat. I wandered around, checking the place out. It was well-appointed, with all kinds of concessions, although there were only two things I wanted: beer and a hot dog.
Finally I found my seat. I was in the terrace deck, up a ways but with an excellent view of the field and the jumbotron.
