Your Hometown Country Connection

Night time is the right time!
I've been a night person all my life and this is the first time anyone's appreciated it! I was born in Philadelphia and lived many years in the Baltimore area. I've loved radio since I was a kid and consider myself extremely lucky to do it for a living. I'm a 2002 graduate of the DC campus of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, I'm a writer, musician and cartoonist in my free time. And I'm a huge fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers as well as the Maryland Terrapins.

The rumored second snowfall didn't happen. Well it did but it was not serious...hardly any of it even stuck. Again, if you ask me a bullet was dodged. Have I mentioned that I hate snow? I really do. No use for it at all. I don't mind the cold in wintertime, I just hate snow.

So it did snow yesterday. There were casualties, and I hope you were not one of them. Not a bad first snow of the season, I have to say. A couple of inches, no big deal. The roads cleared off pretty quickly, and best of all I didn't have to shovel. Which is good because I hurt my hip somehow and it was absolutely killing me, They're calling for more tonight...we'll see how that goes. Either way, stay safe!

If it does snow, be careful. I've said it before: there are too many people out there who think they're invincible in bad weather. They're not. So be careful. Stay in if you can and drive safely if you can't.

Now on day four of having eaten nothing but Thanksgiving leftovers. The verdict: still awesome. But I'm just about out. So this will probably be the last day. And it will probably be the last turkey I eat for six months or so. That's fairly typical.
