In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Jelly Roll has a documentary on the way, Carrie Underwood talks about her ACM nomination, and Morgan Wallen has postponed several shows.

  • Jelly Roll may be pretty new to the country music scene but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t lived an interesting life. In just 38 years he’s lived an interesting enough life for ABC to do a documentary about him. It’s called “Jelly Roll: Save Me” and streams on Hulu May 30th.

  • The 58th ACM Awards are tomorrow night at 7 pm on Amazon Prime. Carrie Underwood has been nominated for Entertainer of the Year and had this to say about the honor:

  • Morgan Wallen has been put on vocal rest for six weeks and has postponed all shows during that time. He’s been diagnosed with vocal fold trauma and was told if he ignores doctors warnings he could permanently damage his voice. As for the postponed shows, his team is still working on rescheduling them. But the current plan seems to be to return to the stage June 22nd and 23rd when he’ll be in Chicago.
