In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Carly Pearce has a new special on the way, CMA Awards have announced their hosts, and George Straits turns 71!
- Carly Pearce, most recent hit “What He Didn’t Do”, will be having a new hour long special this Saturday on CMT. It’s called 29: Written in Stone (Live from Music City). 29: Written in Stone is her most recent album so I would imagine this special will be her performing her entire album live.
- The CMA Awards are bringing back Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning to cohost this years show. Last year they brought a three-year high in viewership. The 57th CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on November 8th at 8 pm ET
- George Strait turns 71 today and he’ll be touring this summer with Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town. But to celebrate today Yardbarker has created a list of essential Strait songs like “Amarillo By Morning” and “All My Ex’s Live In Texas”.
