Today’s Honky Tonk Truth has Justin Moore navigating raising a tent, Carrie Underwood preparing for her 15th Opry anniversary, and Jelly Roll got a little excited meeting one of his heroes.
- Justin Moore is a father of four, three girls and one boy. And his oldest turned 13 recently and Justin says raising a teen sucks. “She doesn’t come out of her room. I’ve seen her room. It’s not that spectacular.”
- Carrie Underwood celebrated her 15th anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry this past Saturday with a two-show performance. She’ll return June 6th for another two show performance and Carrie had this to say about celebrating 15 years as an Opry Member:
- Jelly Roll met Garth Brooks at the ACMs this year and literally swept Garth off of his feet. Jelly Roll didn’t even realize he did it until the clip went viral. Both artists have nothing but great things to say about each other after the encounter with Garth saying “The five minutes you spend with him, you can tell, this guy’s as sincere as can be. He was raised right. You can tell that. And he just loves what he does. And what I love is, he’s not trying to fit in. He’s just being himself, and that’s what we all need to do.” (Taste Of Country)
