A musician named Christian Nolen recently had surgery at the University of Miami to remove a brain tumor. And his doctors had him play guitar DURING the procedure.
It’s called an “awake craniotomy.” It helps them make sure they don’t snip anything they shouldn’t. Christian’s still recovering from it, but he’s doing great.
