In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Cody Johnson is brought to tears while on stage, Parker McCollum is excited about his upcoming tour, and Brooks & Dunn announced a tour.
- Cody Johnson was playing a show in California this past weekend when he noticed a young girl holding a sign saying “I survived my bone marrow transplant to see CoJo”. Cody then stopped the show, hugged the girl and had to take a few seconds to regain his composure before he continued to play. He told her “Don’t ever give up. Keep fighting strong”
- Parker McCollum has kicked off his Burn It Down tour and he’s so excited for fans to meet some of his openers. Two of which are Corey Kent, best known for “Wild as Her”, and George Birge, known for “Mind On You”:
- Brooks & Dunn have announced the return of their Reboot Tour. They’ll be joined by David Lee Murphy and Ernest and the tour kicks off in May. Tickets go on sale this Friday (Jan 26). They’ll be at Merriweather Post Pavilion Thursday June 13th.
