In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Eric Church is headlining another festival, Chris Young has a new album, and Tisha Yearwood will be the first recipient of a new award at the CMT Music Awards.

 

  • Eric Church and Morgan Wallen recently bought the “Field & Stream” brand and are planning on reviving the magazine and clothing line, plus a new country music festival. It’ll be called the “Field & Stream Music Fest” and will be happening October 4th to the 6th in Winnsboro South Carolina. Church will be a headlining act and so will Lainey Wilson.

 

  • Chris Young’s latest single is “Young Love & Saturday Nights” and it’s the title track of his recently released new album. And talking with Chris he shared this is his biggest album yet:

 

  • The CMT Music Awards air Sunday April 7th on CBS at 8 pm, and Trisha Yearwood will be the first recipient of the June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award. The award recognizes someone in the industry who’s dedicated to their community and fellow artists, and Trisha was chosen for her work with Habitat for Humanity and her Dotties Yard Fund that helps rescue animals. Trisha says she’s “humbled” and will be performing  new song called “Put It In A Song” at the award show.
