In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Little Big Town have a special performance planned for the CMT Music Awards, Parker McCollum talks about his latest song, and Peyton Manning slipped up and announced something too early.

  • Little Big Town are celebrating 25 years together and to celebrate they’re premiering a special collaboration with Sugarland at the CMT Music Awards April 7th on CBS. The two groups last shared the stage 15 years ago at the CMT Music Award with Jake Owen.

  • Parker McCollum will perform his latest single “Burn It Down” at the CMT Music Awards. And talking with Parker he explained how special this songs been for him:

  • And talking about Parker McCollum, he’s going to be opening for George Strait at his big Texas show at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field on June 15th. The big concert was announced it last week, but some people got to know a little early all thanks to Peyton Manning. Peyton hosted a fundraiser for the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis on March 8th. Parker was performing there and during an onstage interview Peyton went off script and asked Parker is he was performing with George in Texas soon. Parker said it wasn’t announced yet but yes he was. Manning was very apologetic backstage for the mess up, even yelling at himself, but honestly its a very Manning thing to do.
