It’s Thursday and that means Thirsty Thursday News!
This week we’re looking at Antietam Brewery with their 5k run, Beer Mile, and Taco Mile event happening Saturday May 11th.
Happening at Antietam Brewery in Hagerstown, the event will include a 5K road race (runners, walkers, families invited), a 21 and older Beer Mile, and a Taco Mile that’s fun for all ages!
5K will start at 10:00 am, the Beer Mile at 11:15 am and the Taco Mile at 12:30 pm.
The Beer Mile will be four laps around the building and each lap of the Beer Mile starts by drinking a 12 oz beer. The Beer will be provided by Antietam Brewery, and included in the price of admission. A total of 4 laps and 4 beers will be consumed before crossing the finish line The Taco Mile works in the same way but with tacos.
The races will start and end at Antietam Brewery. And there will be an after-party that will start at 11:00am and extend through the afternoon. Runners can even run in multiple races since the events do not overlap.
