In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, we now know how Randy Travis recorded new music, Sam Hunt talks about his latest single, and Morgan Wallen’s court date has come and gone.
- On Friday Randy Travis released a new song called “Where That Came From”. This is his first song released since his near fatal stroke in 2013 that robbed him of his voice. So how did he record this song? With the help of A.I. So they had another singer sing the song and then used an A.I. system, that was programmed to copy Randy’s voice, to filter the voice to sound like Randy.
- Sam Hunt’s single “Outskirts” is till #1 on the Billboard Country Chart for a third week and talking with Sam he shared his appreciation:
- Friday was Morgan Wallen’s court date for the chair situation. He was not present for the hearing but was represented by his attorney. Not much happened except they’ve scheduled another hearing for August 15th and Morgan will need to be present for that one. So it seems like we’ll have to wait until August to really know what the result of this issue will be.
