In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Dolly Parton is making her 50th album, Kenny Chesney is still that kid from East Tennessee, and Nate Smith had a crazy week last week.
- According to Dolly Parton’s niece, Dolly is woking on her 50th album and its a family affair. Rumored to be called Dolly Parton: Smokey Mountain DNA the album will document her whole life and feature over 20 members of Dolly’s family. No details currently on a release date or track list.
- Kenny Chesney is known for his stadium packing high energy tours and talking with Kenny he explained how all the travel is amazing but he’s still just a kid from East Tennessee:
- Nate Smith has been having some great success lately, in fact last week was massive for him. He won the ACM for New Male Artist, he was named Billboard’s Rookie of the Year, and Amazon named him their Breakthrough Artist. Plus he even got to perform at the ACMs with Avril Lavigne. According to Nate it was “the best week of my life”.
