I know it’s getting late in the summer season but today, August 30th, is National Toasted Marshmallow Day!
Did you know marshmallow actually date all the way back to ancient Egypt? I sure didn’t!
The first recipe for a “s’more” came in 1927 from the Girl Scouts. They published the recipe in their Girl Scout Handbook.
So, naturally the best way to celebrate today would be with by toasting your own marshmallow!
