In today’s Honky Tonk Truth, Old Dominion surprised a friend, Tyler Hubbard talks about performing live, and Morgan Wallen is still at the top.

  • Over the weekend Old Dominion surprised Kenny Chesney in the middle of one of his shows. Kenny said it was impressive his band and crew were able to keep the secret, and they played a few songs together on stage. Not only was it a fun prank and awesome surprise for fans, it was also great to see Matthew Ramsey (Old Dominion’s lead singer) on stage without a cane. He fractured his pelvis in an ATV accident in March.

  • Tyler Hubbard’s song “Dancin’ In The Country” has rose its way to the top of the charts. And you can tell how popular it is when Tyler plays it live:

  • Morgan Wallen’s album One Thing at a Time is still at the #1 spot on the Billboard 200.  It’s the first album to spend its first 11 weeks at #1 since Whitney Houston’s Whitney in 1987. Wallen also now has the most weeks in a row at #1 since the Titanic soundtrack had 16 consecutive weeks in 1998.
