In today’s Honky Tonk Truth Carrie Underwood has new music on the way, Megan Moroney talks about her debut album, and Eric Church causes some drama at the CMA Fest.
- Carrie Underwood has announced she will be releasing a Deluxe Edition of the album Denim & Rhinestones. It will feature six new songs and will be out September 22nd.
- Megan Moroney’s debut album Lucky has been out for just over a month. And talking with the “Tennessee Orange” singer she had this to say about the fan reactions so far:
- The CMA Fest wrapped up yesterday and on Saturday Eric Church left some fans disappointed at Nissan Stadium. He was the last show of the night and played only seven songs (which is typical of a closing artist). The music he played was mostly deep cuts and reimagined versions of his songs (which upset some people seeing him for the first time). But of course people went to Twitter to complain, saying he left rudely and played only three songs. Moral of the story: Even if you’re Eric Church, you can’t please everyone
