The event, where participants raise money so they can rappel down the side of the Alexander House on the square in Hagerstown, will have a few tweaks and changes in order to keep up with social distance and sanitary guidelines.
Only participants will gain entry to the building and they will only be able to enter at their registration time. They will be required to wear masks, non-latex gloves and use hand sanitizer depending on the state’s orders at the time. Over the Edge will work with the Alexander House management team to place floor markers indicated 6’ difference throughout the indoor areas and each area will be limited depending on the size of the room.
The committee is also reforming the festivities on the street. Instead of a dedicated street event, committee members will be reaching out to business owners on the street to invite them to participate with specials throughout the day.
